Joe Biden said in an interview with MSNBC’s Lester Holt that his first 100 days would “depend on the kind of cooperation [he] can or cannot get from the United States Congress.”
New York and California are STILL counting votes from the election that happened 22 days ago, and the Democrat control in the House of Representatives dwindles by the day. Two run-off races are happening in Georgia that should cement Republican control over the Senate.
IF – and that is a big, giant IF – the lawsuits filed by American citizens and the Trump campaign don’t give Trump a White House win, the only way to stop Joe Biden is for the Republicans to have control over the Senate.
In the event that Joe Biden takes the oval office, he says immigration will be his top priority in the first 100 days. This should scare all immigrants because the last time Joe Biden was part of a Presidential administration, they created cages to separate immigrant families at the border.
Who built the cages, Joe?
Biden says he is “going to make a commitment in the first 100 days” of his non-certified administration to “send an immigration bill to the United States Senate with a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people in America.”
They are called ‘illegal immigrants,’ Joe. Calling them ‘undocumented’ instead of ‘illegal’ doesn’t make them any less deportable. It is also not going to make up for playing ‘Despecito’ on your cell phone while pandering for the Hispanic vote.
Biden also promised to “do away with some of the very damaging executive orders that have significantly impacted on making the climate worse.” He says President Trump “eviscerated the EPA,” and he will be working hard to get all the Obama era regulations back into play.
He also claims he will tackle the economic recovery and promises to “focus on those folks who are always the first one hit.” Why wait until you are in office, Joe? At any point during the lockdowns, he could have brought Pelosi into his basement and told her to get a relief bill to Americans that need it.
He didn’t, and the Democrats in the House wanted to fund everyone’s bank accounts except for the millions of Americans who need it. Instead of taking a lid, Joe Biden should have publicly called on his Democrats in the House to put partisan politics aside to make sure Americans are going to have a meal this Thanksgiving.
Joe Biden rightfully says that “millions of people” have been affected by this virus and that “this is more than just a financial crisis, it’s a crisis that’s causing real mental stress for millions of people.”
What does Joe Biden think he will be able to accomplish now that he couldn’t accomplish when he held the second-highest office in our country for 8 years? He is nominating the old gang that held power in the Obama administration. Nothing will get better under a Biden administration unless you are a coastal elite.
