A 6th woman has come out and is accusing embattled NY Governor Andrew Cuomo of inappropriate touching, this time at the governor’s mansion.
The woman, whose identity was kept anonymous by the Times Union is a member of the Executive Chamber staff.
Per the Times Union, “the woman had alleged that the governor inappropriately touched her late last year during an encounter at the governor’s mansion, where she had been summoned to do work.”
Responding to the report, a spokesperson for Cuomo said, “all allegations that we learn of directly or indirectly are going promptly to the investigators appointed by the attorney general.”
During a conference call with reporters on Tuesday afternoon, Cuomo claimed he was unaware of the woman’s allegations.
“First, I’m not aware of any other claim,” Cuomo claimed.
“As I said last week, this is very simple, I never touched anyone inappropriately … no one ever told me at the time that I made them feel uncomfortable. Obviously, there are people who said after the fact that I made them uncomfortable,” he continued.
