
The brand formerly known as “Aunt Jemima” has been rebranded with a new name.
A PepsiCo spokesperson announced “We are starting a new day with Pearl Milling Company.”
They added “a new day rooted in the brand’s historic beginnings and its mission to create moments that matter at the breakfast table.”

The name comes from the 1889 company that created the pancake mix once known as “Aunt Jemima.”
The red and yellow packaging remains but the iconic “Aunt Jemima” character is gone and replaced by the illustration of a building.
