Vice President Kamala Harris has cast the tie breaking vote to confirm passage of President Biden’s $1.9 trillion relief plan.
The vote was 50-50 along party lines before Harris cast the tie-breaking vote. No Republicans supported the plan.
The bill now goes to the Pelosi-led House and Democrats are expected to pass it and send it to the markup process.
