Maricopa County judge Daniel Martin has denied Democrat’s request to stop the election audit in Arizona.
Martin said he will not extend a temporary restraining order that would have put a halt in the county’s 2020 election audit.
“I think this was a very productive and useful hearing. I still have some thinking to do about the requested relief from the plaintiffs. I will do that between now and tomorrow morning,” Martin said.
The effort to block the audit was failed last week by Democrats hours before it was slated to start.
Democrats claimed that contractors hired by the Arizona Senate were not properly securing ballots and equipment.
