Former President Donald Trump is never short on surprises, especially when it comes to dropping in on weddings and events at his fabulous Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, where he now bases his post-presidency headquarters.
According to The Hill, during a wedding over the weekend, Trump decided to have a little fun and give John and Megan Arrigo, the groom and bride, a wedding reception experience they’ll never forget, as the former president grabbed a hot microphone and began absolutely shredding the Biden administration for what’s happening on the southern U.S. border, among other issues.
“I’ve been watching the news and they’re telling me about the border, they’re telling me about China,” Trump said to the crowd. “The border is not good. And what you see now, multiply it times 10.”
Trump held nothing back as he went into great detail concerning his thoughts on what’s going on at the border right now.
“What’s happening to the kids … they’re living in squalor. They’re living like nobody has ever seen,” Trump told the audience. “Look, it’s a disaster. It’s a humanitarian disaster from their standpoint and it’s going to destroy the country and, frankly, the country can’t afford it.”

TMZ obtained footage of Trump’s wedding moment, which can be viewed below.
Of course, the wedding guests absolutely roared with applause and cheers when the former president asked the perfect question: “So I just say: Do you miss me yet?”
It wouldn’t be a Trump speech, wedding or not, if he didn’t take a few cracks at the results of the 2020 election, using Biden’s recent string of failures to suggest that there’s no way he received more votes than Trump did during the election.
But the 45th president ended his drop-in with class, wishing the new bride and groom a beautiful, happy future, adding that he thinks they are a “great and beautiful couple.”
It’s really no surprise that Trump is using every avenue possible to contrast his handling of immigration policies and border security with that of the Biden administration’s mishandling of both issues. Given the fact that it’s not out of the question that he makes a 2024 run, depending on just how bad the border crisis becomes, it could be an easy springboard for the former president to jump right back into the Oval Office.
Not only is he adored by tens of millions of loyal supporters, but he has a proven, successful track record of dealing with influxes of illegal immigrants and knows exactly how to process them. By the time 2024 rolls around, this country could be an absolute disaster that, once again, needs fixing by Trump.
Let’s hope that it’s not that bad at that point in time, but the way things are going, one shouldn’t be surprised if they are.
