It’s truly amazing that so many people in America still do not seem to grasp the concept that lockdowns have been proven as one of the worst responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, as the resulting consequences seem to far outweigh any risk mitigation that may or may not occur during a lockdown period.
Former Vice President Joe Biden, who the media declared the victor in the 2020 presidential election, has already made clear through his rhetoric and his campaign advisers that should he be handed the keys to the White House, a 4-6 week lockdown period is likely.
At this point in time, short of several miracles performed by President Donald Trump’s legal team, it appears as if Biden may, in fact, be the United States president soon. Luckily, we have a few brave lawmakers in Congress who are already preparing to fight back if Biden tries to lock this country down, again.
According to Breitbart, one of those freedom fighters is Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who during a recent radio interview with New York AM WABC 770 radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” vowed to use whatever powers he had to make sure this country isn’t locked down if Biden is in power.
“He’s going to ruin the country. Lockdowns don’t work. And in fact, all of the evidence on mandatory masks show that they don’t work either. There’s about 10 different countries or venues, maybe 20, that instituted mandatory masks, and everyone one of them — to a T — the infection rate, the COVID rate went up after the mask mandate,” Paul said of Biden’s lockdown fantasies.

Paul, also a medical doctor, went on to explain that mitigation efforts like social distancing and especially mask-wearing don’t appear to be working like Democrats and the mainstream media would like you to think.
“Now, this is just showing that … all these mitigation strategies — washing our hands, staying six feet apart — they really don’t work, frankly. And the virus, as the Wall Street Journal put it, is insidious. It does going to do what it’s going to do. The only thing that’s going to stop it is either enough immunity among individuals in the community or a vaccine,” he added.
Doubling down, the Kentucky senator vowed to protect Americans from the wrath of yet another Democrat-led lockdown which will surely kill thousands of small businesses across the country and send America economically backwards in a hurry.
“I’m going to do everything I can to try to prevent Biden from locking us up and locking us down and forcing us to wear masks forever. We can’t go on like this forever,” Paul said.

Hopefully, other senators will muster enough courage to help stop Biden, should he become president, from killing the American economy for good with another extended and ineffective lockdown period.
