House GOP leaders are facing mounting pressure from Senate colleagues to handle Taylor Greene.
“I think we should have nothing to do with Marjorie Taylor Greene and think we should repudiate the things she said and move away from her,” Romney said.
“Our big tent is not large enough to both accommodate conservatives and kooks,” he continued.

“Somebody who’s suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s airplane is not living in reality,” McConnell said.
“This has nothing to do with the challenges facing American families or the robust debates on substance that can strengthen our party.”

Progressive Rep. Ilhan Omar warned that if Greene is not removed from office by Republican leaders, then “we must do it.”
“She has not only posed what many of us would consider a threat against myself and many of my colleagues, but she’s harassed people who have survived violence, children who have survived violence, and is lying about the deaths of so many children, and is really victimizing their families,” Omar said of Greene.
