Alabama Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville appeared to hint he may back Rep. Mo Brooks plan to challenge the electoral college vote January 6th.
Brooks has made his plans to do so very open but needs a Senator to force a debate then vote on the issue.
During a rally for Perdue and Loeffler, Tuberville says “you see what’s coming. You’ve been reading about it in the House. We’re going to have to do it in the Senate.”

During an interview on WVNN-radio in Huntsville Tuesday, Tuberville’s campaign chairman Stan McDonald said about possibly joining Rep. Brooks challenge “I think that he and Ted Cruz are the two best candidates to do this.”
He added “I don’t know yet if or when he will do this. He’s very seriously considering it.”
If Tuberville does go forward with backing Rep. Brooks election challenge it will be against the will of Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell who urged party members to accept Joe Biden as President-elect.
